Hello, My name is Roy Reyes and I am a 2nd grade teacher. I have been an elementary teacher for Edgewood ISD for 3 years. This is my second year teaching 2nd grade at Gardendale Elementary. I graduated from Texas A&M Kingsville/San Antonio with a Bachelors of Science and a Masters in Early Childhood Education.
COVID-19 School Closure:
Based on the Executive Order for our Governor, EISD will extend its closure for the remainder of the 2019-2020 academic school year. This announcement does not mean learning has ended; students will finish the year learning in a different capacity given the current health environment. While distant learning will remain in place, I do want to remind you that our last day of school is May 22, 2020. In the meantime, we will continue online learning through seesaw.
Office Hours
During the COVID-19 school closure, my online office hours are from 8am-9am and 3pm-4pm, Monday-Friday. You can reach me by email [email protected] or by the Seesaw App.
Online Class
2nd grade will be using the seesaw system for online learning. The assignments reflect the district virtual learning choice board.
