The ITF is a new role for Edgewood ISD, and emphasizes the importance of the classroom teacher. The classroom teacher is the most important factor in student achievement, and the ITF will help teachers use technology to promote higher-level thinking in their everyday instruction within the following criteria:
- support teachers in integrating technology into their lesson plan
- model integration of technology in content areas
- staff development
- resource person for Instructional technology software
- collaborates with classroom teachers
